FaciCost

Integrations

Sales can come from anywhere. Cost and stock stay in FaciCost.

Import a CSV, type a daily total, or connect Posterita. Optional POS and e-commerce adapters never become the source of truth for recipes, purchases, or profit.

How sales enter FaciCost

A business without a POS is a first-class customer, not a limited trial of the real product.

  • Ready

    Manual sales

Quick sale or a daily total. Built for a cash register, a notebook, or a till that does not send data.

  • Ready

    CSV import

Upload, validate, preview, then confirm. Invalid rows are shown, not silently skipped.

  • Ready

    Posterita POS

Completed till sales become FaciCost sales when the Item Code matches the product SKU. Voids create a reversal.

  • Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop

You can save shop details in FaciCost. Live order import is not switched on yet. When it is, those orders use the same sale model as Posterita.

  • Accounting tools

Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks, and Zoho are planned adapters. FaciCost will not replace your books.

Posterita

Connect the till without an API key

Posterita owns orders, payments, and the till. FaciCost owns ingredients, recipes, purchases, waste, costing, and profitability. Leave Posterita inventory tracking off.

Mauritius-first setup
  1. Step 1

    Create a FaciCost workspace

No Posterita API key is required for webhooks.

  2. Step 2

    Create the webhook Url

Settings → Integrations → Posterita. Copy Url for each hook, or use the shared address.

  3. Step 3

    Paste into Posterita

Advanced → Webhooks → Create Webhook. Hook + Url, then Save. Six hooks, one each.

  4. Step 4

    Complete one till sale

Item Code in Posterita must match the FaciCost SKU. Then Sold can move.

Posterita hooks FaciCost expects

  • Customer.Created

Stored for matching later. FaciCost is not a CRM.

  • Customer.Updated

Stored. Existing FaciCost records are not overwritten yet.

  • Product.Created

Stored so you can map it to a FaciCost product or recipe later.

  • Product.Updated

Stored. Selling price in Posterita does not change FaciCost cost.

  • Order.Completed

Becomes a FaciCost sale. Sold goes up. Bought items at that shop lose stock. Make-here products show Sold without finished-goods stock.

  • Order.Voided

Creates a reversal. History is kept. Sold and stock go back.

A voided order creates a reversal. Historical sales and stock movements are not deleted.

One adapter model. No second stock system.

Each connection maps into the same internal sale. We do not clone Odoo or Zoho Inventory, and we do not let a till become the cost engine.

  • Ready

    CSV import

Upload sales from a spreadsheet. FaciCost works without a POS — CSV is a first-class sales source.

They own: The file you export from a till, notebook, or another system.

FaciCost keeps: Cost, recipes, stock, and profit after the import is confirmed.

  • Webhooks ready

    Posterita

Mauritius POS. Create Posterita webhooks for Customer, Product, and Order events. Posterita owns checkout. FaciCost owns cost, recipes, stock, and profit.

They own: POS orders, payments, and till workflow.

FaciCost keeps: Ingredients, recipes, purchases, waste, costing, and profitability.

  • Details can be saved

    Shopify

FaciCost keeps: Product cost, recipes, and inventory intelligence.

  • Details can be saved

    WooCommerce

Bring WooCommerce orders into FaciCost without creating a second stock system.

They own: The WordPress store checkout.

FaciCost keeps: Costing, recipes, and stock movements.

  • Details can be saved

    PrestaShop

Map PrestaShop orders to the same canonical sale event as other adapters.

    They own: PrestaShop checkout.

FaciCost keeps: Cost, stock, and profit in FaciCost.

  • Coming next

    Odoo

Optional later connection. FaciCost stays narrower than Odoo and will not replace it.

They own: ERP workflows you already run in Odoo.

FaciCost keeps: Product cost and profitability intelligence.

  • Coming next

    Xero

Planned accounting adapter. FaciCost is not a full accounting suite.

They own: Statutory books in Xero.

FaciCost keeps: Operational cost, stock, and gross profit.

  • Coming next

    QuickBooks

Planned accounting adapter behind the same integration model.

    They own: Accounting in QuickBooks.

FaciCost keeps: Costing and inventory intelligence in FaciCost.

  • Coming next

    Zoho

Planned later. FaciCost will not try to clone Zoho Inventory.

They own: Zoho inventory or books, if you use them.

FaciCost keeps: Recipe costing and margin intelligence.

Common questions

Do I need Posterita to use FaciCost?

No. Manual sales and CSV are part of the core product. Posterita is an optional till connection for Mauritius shops that already use it.

Do I need a Posterita API key?

No. Posterita’s webhook form needs a Hook and a Url. Create the Url in FaciCost, paste it in Posterita, and save. REST keys are only if Posterita support later gives you one.

Will connecting a POS create a second stock system?

No. Posterita owns checkout. FaciCost owns cost, recipes, purchases, waste, and profit. Incoming sales map into one internal sale model so stock is not counted twice.

Is Shopify or WooCommerce importing orders today?

Not yet. You can store shop details. Order import is not live. When it ships, those orders will use the same sale and stock rules as Posterita.

Connect the till when you are ready.

Start with recipes and purchases today. Add Posterita webhooks when the shop is live — FaciCost still works the day before.
